Mindful Mouthful Ayurvedic Mouth Pulling Oil

Kalava is the Sanskrit word for swishing liquid inside the mouth. Oil pulling is part of the Ayurvedic Dinachary or daily routine. It is recommended to swish or hold oil in your mouth for 10-20 minutes. The mouth is the beginning of the digestive tract and if there is bacteria in the mouth, chances are it is moving down into your gut.

Use 2 tsp daily to swish and literally pull the bacteria from the mouth. This pulling oil has anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-fungal properties.
